PA Early Stage Announces Promotion of Four to Partner

Guy W. Winters joined PA Early Stage in 2000 as General Counsel and gained the additional title of Principal in 2000. Prior to joining the fund, he worked as an Associate in the business and finance department of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, Philadelphia. While at Morgan, Lewis, Mr. Winters gained substantial experience in public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and the representation of entrepreneurs and venture capital funds. Mr. Winters earned his B.A. from Rutgers College and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He is currently on the Boards of Directors of BIAP Systems, Microplate Automation, and Maxwell Systems, and is an observer to the Board of Directors of Circadiant Systems.

Separately, PA Early Stage recently announced its recruitment of Quingsheng "Ching" Zhu, Ph.D., M.B.A. as a Partner in the firm's life sciences practice. In addition to Mr. McCord, PA Early Stage's Managing Directors include co-founder Michael G. Bolton and Life Sciences Practice Leader Paul J. Schmitt.
