Indegene Acquires MedCases LLC

With this acquisition, the Indegene worldwide group expands its presence in the US market through two independent companies: Medsn Inc and MedCases LLC. Medsn is a leader in promotional medical marketing, sales training and competitive intelligence services with more than 50 employees across offices in New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Chicago. MedCases is based out of Philadelphia.

The new acquisition reflects the growing pharmaceutical industry trend toward complete separation of support for accredited CME programs and non-accredited programs deemed promotional by the FDA, a move prompted by stricter guidelines issued by the Accreditation Council for CME (ACCME) and increased federal scrutiny.
