InGrid introduces capabilities that completely makeover the home security market including:

 

• The Protection Heartbeat which is always on and always connected to send data back and forth to InGrid's servers several times per minute. InGrid watches for any small changes in the components--grid controllers, sensors, and communication paths, and sends alerts if there's a problem.
• Professional 24/7 Monitoring and interaction from the world's largest privately-held Security Company, Guardian Protection Services, keeping consumers connected to emergency services when needed. InGrid also has multiple communication paths from the home to the monitoring center for added protection- broadband, phone, and soon-to-come, wireless.

 

 

 

 

• No Single Point of Vulnerability ensures the system cannot be defeated by intruders in seconds, unlike most security systems. InGrid has system redundancy with multiple control points and no master control panel, which is known to be defeatable by intruders in seconds.
• Website Access and Control that allows consumers to customize, manage and monitor their home protection systems as well as deploy non-emergency sensors through a password protected portal (myingrid.com) from anywhere in the world. Consumers can even configure for non-emergency alerts such as liquor cabinets.
• E-mail and Cell Phone Notifications that can be customized to send emergency or non-emergency alerts via e-mail to a subscriber's personal e-mail account or messages to any PDA or cell phone.
