  • U.K. Corporate Manslaughter Act
In March, iJET released, "U.K. Corporate Manslaughter Act: Implications for your Travel Program," the white paper addressing the U.K. Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007. The paper provides a summary of how the new law impacts corporate managed travel programs, suggestions for reviewing such programs and additional resources for corporations concerned about compliance with the legislation.
  • U.S. Airline Safety Oversight
Following the grounding of hundreds of commercial airplanes for safety inspections, iJET issued a special report in June outlining the causes and issues behind the safety inspection errors plaguing the airline industry. The report, "U.S. Airline Safety Oversight: Under the Microscope," provided insight on how problems evolved, the reaction by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S. Department of Transportation's efforts to improve the inspection process and the continued effects on travelers.
